Just last month, I had the opportunity to photograph two clients tying the knot at the courthouse. It was my first time meeting clients inside and capturing pictures during the ceremony, so naturally, I was a bit nervous. To ensure everything went smoothly, I arrived early, anticipating a potential parking challenge—though surprisingly, it being a quiet Sunday on Father's Day meant parking was a breeze.
Navigating inside, I followed the flow of people, which led me to the ceremony venue. Along the way, I couldn't resist noting a charming fountain outside. As luck would have it, the couple I was to photograph turned out to be right behind me in line at security.
This was a value shoot, offering a set number of photos with the option to purchase more. The bride mentioned she might choose three indoor and three outdoor shots, to which I assured her I had it covered. Interestingly, there were five other couples getting married that day, and I managed to keep my composure without getting emotional—being a Libra, I have a soft spot for love stories.
After the ceremony, I guided the couple to the fountain where we captured some truly magical moments. Their satisfaction was evident as they decided to purchase additional photos beyond their guaranteed set. Here are some highlights from that memorable shoot:
